Phospholipids, being highly purified phosphatidylcholine fraction, are the active ingredient of LIVERTON product by НEALLPHYCLOPEDIA ТМ. Dilinoleophosphatidylcholine is a determinant component of the fraction. Essential phospholipids, involved by medicinal product LIVERTON, are similar to endogenic membrane phospholipids on their chemical composition; however, they dominate the former on functional properties. That can be explained by higher content of polyunsaturated fatty acids, especially linolic acid. Phospholipids are the basic structural components of cell walls and bioplasts. They participate in cell differentiation, division, and regeneration. Functional role of phospholipids relies upon their amphiphilic properties making it possible to control penetrability of a cell wall. They improve membrane functions, ionic exchange, cellar respiration, biooxidation; factors into fixing of  cellular respiration within mitochondria as well as into oxidative phosphorylation during energy metabolism of the cells.  Under physiological conditions, phospholipid synthesis meets normal demands of hepatocytes containing sufficient quantity of phospholipids.  Nevertheless, structures of cell walls and enzyme systems experience pathological changes if hepatic disorders take place. Pospholipid biosynthesis becomes broken; their lack results in malfunction of a cell wall function. Most of all, the processes are manifested in mitochondria where phospholipids are almost 30% of their content. Important metabolism processes take place within them; oxidative phosphorylation is the most important among them. Phospholipid lack factors into the disbalance of fat metabolism resulting in liver lipomatosis.

Owing to its pharmacological properties, LIVERTON normalizes the abovementioned disorders, favours regeneration of subcellar and plasmatic walls; the broken membrane-fixed enzyme systems and receptors are reactivated;   detoxication capabilities of liver intensify; thus, its function normalizes.

LIVERTON may be recommended under:

• chronic hepatitis;

• liver cells death;

• hepatic steatosis of various etiologic types (pancreatic diabetes etc.);

• toxic liver involvement;

• toxicosis across pregnancy;

• the pre-and postoperative conditions, while curing hepatobiliary zone.

Dosage and administration: adults and twelve plus: a capsule/a tablet 3 times a day.  Course of administration is 1-3 months. Further administration and possibility of repeated administration should be agreed with your doctor.

Contraindication: individual idiosyncrasy of the product components, pregnancy, lactation period. Take doctor’s opinion before use.
