Pharmacological properties

A complex agent of natural origin, the active ingredients of which have a high sorption property for various microorganisms, their waste products, toxins, food allergens, poisons, heavy metals, radioactive compounds, ammonia, cholesterol, bile acids and contribute to their excretion from the body. The active components of the complex have adsorbing, detoxification, antioxidant, hypolipidemic effects. Able to normalize the motor-evacuation function of the intestine.

Apple pectin is a natural substance contained in the cell walls and intercellular space of all plants. Fruits, berries and vegetables are especially rich in them. Pectins are extracted from plant raw materials practically unchanged, while all physiological properties are preserved. Getting into the gastrointestinal tract, pectin forms a gel. Absorbing liquid, it increases the volume of intestinal contents and, stimulating peristalsis, stretches the intestinal walls, which, in turn, begins to contract and pushes out the swollen mass along with other waste products.

A natural process of cleansing the intestines and eliminating constipation occurs. Pectin provides a soft effect on the walls of the gastrointestinal tract, causes increased peristalsis, improves intestinal motor function, and contributes to the maximum release of the intestines from fecal masses. Moving through the intestines, pectin eliminates fermentation and putrefactive processes, cleanses the villi of the small intestine of undigested food residues and, absorbing toxic metabolic products (toxins), removes them from the body. Pectin is able to remove radionuclides, heavy metals (lead, mercury, zinc, cobalt, etc.) from the human body, due to which it is included in the diet of people who are in contact with heavy metals or are in a polluted environment. The benefits of pectin also lie in its ability to improve the intestinal microflora, to have a moderate anti-inflammatory and enveloping effect on the gastric mucosa in ulcerative lesions, to form optimal conditions for microbiocenosis - a population of bacteria beneficial to the body. With constant use of pectin, the accumulation of harmful substances in the body does not occur. Thus, pectin is a natural "sanitary" for our body, without disturbing the natural bacteriological balance of the body.

Bran extract. Bran contains up to 80% fiber, a significant amount of vegetable protein and carbohydrates, saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins carotene, E and group B; macro- and microelements potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, sodium, iron; compounds of chromium, selenium, copper, zinc and other elements. The use of bran creates optimal dietary conditions for the normalization of intestinal motor function, the removal of toxic substances from the body.

Chitosan is a polysaccharide, the monomer of chitin N-acetyl-1,4-b-D-glucopyranosamine. One of the sources of chitosan is the shells of crustaceans. The polysaccharide chitosan has an adsorption capacity, adsorbs and removes heavy metals and toxins (cleansing the body). Chitosan is able to bind to a certain extent with fat molecules in the digestive tract. Fat bound to chitosan is not digested and is excreted from the body. Chitosan is used as a means of promoting weight loss, as well as to improve cholesterol metabolism and intestinal motility.

Recommendations for use. Dietary Supplement "Phytosorbent" can be used in dietetic diets as an additional source of biologically active substances of natural origin (pectin, fiber, polysaccharides) in order to create optimal dietary conditions for normalizing intestinal motor function, cholesterol metabolism, removing toxic substances from the body, weight control, optimizing liver and kidney function in cases of susceptibility to allergic diseases, infectious diseases and food poisoning.

The active ingredients of the drug can be recommended:

• in adverse environmental conditions, when the body is overloaded with toxic, poisonous substances, drugs;

• at the first signs of gastrointestinal tract disorders (flatulence, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation), to prevent the main manifestations of toxic and diarrheal syndromes;

• in case of poisoning of various origins (alcohol, heavy metal salts, pesticides, chemicals);

• in case of intestinal infections;

· to overcome allergic reactions;

- when changing the usual lifestyle and diet during vacation, business trip, travel ("traveler's diarrhea");

• as part of weight control measures.

Method of use and dosage: adults 1-2 tablets 2 times a day during meals, washed down with a glass of water. When consuming a dietary supplement, increase the amount of water consumed to 2 liters per day. Before use, it is recommended to consult a doctor. Duration of use: up to 2 weeks.

The duration of use should be agreed with the doctor. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose! Dietary supplements should not be used as a substitute for a full-fledged diet.

Release form: tablets, with a content of 500±15% mg (mg), 10 pieces in a blister.

Composition per 1 tablet: apple pectin 100 mg (mg), bran extract - 100 mg (mg), chitosan 60 mg (mg), sorbitol, maltodextrin, magnesium stearate. Energy value per 100 g (g): 354.5 kcal (kcal).

Precautions for use: individual sensitivity to product components, pregnancy, breastfeeding. With caution in case of a tendency to edema.

Storage conditions: store at a temperature of +5°C to +25°C and a relative humidity of no more than 75%, in the original closed packaging, in a dry place inaccessible to children. During storage, do not expose the contents of the package to direct sunlight.
